WHO AM I

Joon Dillmann – Lawyer in Sóller, Mallorca
I am a lawyer based in Sóller, Mallorca, and a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of the Balearic Islands (ICAIB), with over two decades of experience advising family offices, individuals, and companies, and more than a decade of professional practice as a licensed attorney. My law firm, located in Sóller, provides personalized legal advice to individuals and businesses in the areas of property law, inheritance, and civil mediation, always with the rigor and approachability that define my way of working.
Of South Korean origin and German nationality, I have lived in several countries — including Spain, Germany, Puerto Rico, and the United States — which has given me a multicultural perspective and a deep understanding of the legal challenges faced by those who live or invest abroad. This personal and international experience allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and to offer legal solutions tailored to multicultural contexts.
A career defined by vocation and respect
My connection to the legal profession was born from the inspiration and guidance of Enrique Martí Fernández, lawyer and founder of the firm in 1985 in Sóller. Mr. Martí was my mentor and principal professional guide; from him I learned the importance of legal precision, honesty, and personal commitment to every client. In recognition of his legacy, I continue to uphold his humanistic approach to law, based on trust and the constant pursuit of fair and lasting solutions.
I settled permanently in Mallorca after moving here in 1983, although living in different parts of the world enriched my training and broadened my vision of legal practice. Since then, I have continued to work with the same philosophy of dedication, respect, and service that inspired the foundation of the firm.
Local and international legal assistance
As a lawyer in Sóller, Mallorca, I frequently advise a national and international clientele from Spain, Germany, France, Ireland, England, the United States, and Dubai. My goal is to provide effective, transparent, and personalized legal services, whether in matters related to international inheritances, property transactions, or ownership disputes.
I am registered as an official mediator with the Spanish Ministry of Justice and listed with the German Consulate in Palma de Mallorca, further reinforcing my professional commitment to the international community settled in the Balearic Islands. This dual background enables me to act as a reliable link between my clients and the Spanish legal systems, ensuring clear communication and secure legal solutions.
Work philosophy: clarity, prevention, and trust
I firmly believe that prevention is the best legal tool. Therefore, I focus my practice on anticipating legal risks and facilitating informed decision-making. From contract drafting to estate planning or family conflict mediation, my approach combines clarity, efficiency, and professional discretion.
At every stage, as a lawyer in Sóller, Mallorca, I dedicate the necessary time to ensure each client fully understands the scope of their legal situation and the available alternatives. Mutual trust and transparent communication are essential pillars of my practice.
Commitment to Sóller and the Balearic Islands
The firm, originally founded by Enrique Martí Fernández, lawyer in Sóller, Mallorca, now retired, remains a local benchmark for professionalism and community commitment.
